On the heels of the recent Critical Mass ride a new issue is coming to light, or at least into sharper focus… the lack of advocacy for pedestrians in a city that has them ranked as the # 1 priority in transportation planning. While pedestrians are listed as the first priority in the City of Vancouver’s Transportation Plan, cyclists 2nd, transit 3rd and motorists 4th, planning for pedestrians “seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle”…
